That both boys finished their Cub Scout Rank Acheivements!
They will both be getting their ranks at the upcoming Blue and Gold Banquet! When we started the year, the both said that they wanted to be finished by Banquet and they worked very hard and showed real dedication to finish it up. Lukas has completed enough electives to get his gold arrow point AND three silvers. Andrew has enough to get his gold and two silvers. That's pretty impressive! I am just so proud of them!
I also became something this weekend that I swore I would never be....I am a soccer mom. All I need is a minivan and I have transformed into a normal mom. Next will be scrapbooking. Not that I have anything against any of you that scrapbook, but I just don't get the point! But I am finding myself in craft stores searching the scrapbook aisles, but I don't know why. I am becoming a suburbanite. AUGH!! Do you think the other soccer moms with their perfect hair and nails and minivans with the little people stickers on the back that they cut with their cricut will accept me into their scrapbooking circle? At least they have invented glue dots so now no one has to know how bad I am with craft glue.
This is what parenthood does to you! It takes a perfect normal, tattooed, beer drinking, ponytail wearing normal woman and turns her into a clone. If I start wearing high heels and worrying about my purse....someone take me out!
